You know that friend of yours, the one who always looks amazingly pulled together and oh-so stylish? The one whose closet you’d like to raid. The one who every time makes you think, “how does she do it?”. Well, that’s Lisa Cole to us. She’s always impeccably dressed and our go-to for all things stylish. So, when Lisa featured Favery jewelry in a recent post on her fashion blog, West Fulton Street, we knew we had picked a great collection.
She paired these stunning Favery accessories with her Madewell Flea Market Flare Overalls in the Rita Wash with a Christophe Sauvat Embroidered Off The Shoulder Top. Referencing the overalls, Lisa notes that the higher waist offers legs a long and lean look with a cool 70s flare. She advises looking for overalls with crisscross back straps instead of the western looking bib type.
As one who loathes those lists that tell you what to wear at whatever age you are, we particularly love this piece of Lisa’s style advice: “One of the perks of being a grownup is that YOU get to decide how you dress yourself...it’s up to you to decide what looks and feels best on your person.” Lisa uses the mantra “how can I wear this” not “I can’t wear this at my age” to interpret trends that she loves.
Take Lisa’s advice and “make it work for you and forget the damn lists.”
As Always, Shine Bright!
